Sterling Silver and Motor Agate Fordite Necklace #2280

Lapidary cut, medium-domed Type 3 Motor Agate (Fordite), with color on color layers in opaques and metallics. This piece features a many layered freeform shaped cabochon, set in hand fabricated solid sterling silver, with our signature mini-hammered finish detail.

The salvaged and upcycled fordite material set into this lovely piece began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested as a byproduct of spray painting cars in the automotive industry!

Pendant dimensions from top of bail: 40mm x 15.3mm.

Hand signed on reverse.

The Chain: 20" round snake chain, 1.6mm in diameter. Classic, beautiful.
