Sterling Silver and Motor Agate Fordite Necklace #2143

Lapidary cut, multi-layered Motor Agate (Fordite) cabochon set in sterling silver. The salvaged and repurposed material set in this piece began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested from a major auto plant many years ago.

This piece has a beautiful and rare, vintage Type 3 Motor Agate cabochon: Color on color layers with metallics. 

This lovely cab is set in a hand fabricated sterling silver setting that has been given our signature mini-hammered finish and a gorgeous rainbow patina treatment. Open bezel back. Watercast organic sterling embellishments.
