Sterling Silver and Motor Agate Fordite Post Earrings #1829

Lapidary cut, multi-layered Motor Agate (Fordite) matched cabochon squares, set in sterling silver. The salvaged and repurposed material in these pieces began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested as a byproduct of the auto manufacturing industry. 

These are beautiful, matched Type 3 Motor Agate cabochons.

The cabs are set on posts in sterling silver bezels with a mini-hammered finish and closed, full bezel backs.
