Sterling Silver and Motor Agate Fordite Oval Ring #2059

Lapidary cut, multi-layered Motor Agate (Fordite) cabochon, bezel-set in solid sterling silver retro design that has been slightly oxidized, with asymmetric hobnail edge detailing and a mini-hammered finish. The salvaged and repurposed material set in this piece began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested from a major auto plant many years ago.

This piece has a beautiful Type 2, medium domed Motor Agate cabochon; color on color layers with metallics.
