Sterling Silver and Motor Agate Fordite Long Bead Earrings #2087

Lovely dangles from all angles! : Featured in this piece are lapidary cut, multi-layered Motor Agate (Fordite) matched 3-D sculpted beads- Top drilled and pin-set in mini-hammered silver cones, and hung from textured celtic knot, sterling post settings, with clutch backs.

The salvaged and repurposed material set in these earrings began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested from a major auto factory many years ago.

These custom cut beads are beautiful Type 2 Motor Agate beads: Color on color layers with metallics, and are both cut from a single piece of vintage fordite.
