Sterling Silver and Motor Agate Fordite Necklace #1681

Lapidary cut, multi-layered Motor Agate (Fordite) cabochon set in sterling silver. The salvaged and repurposed material set in this piece began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested from a major auto plant many years ago.

This piece has a beautiful and rare Type 3 Motor Agate cabochon: Color on color layers with metallics. 

This lovely vintage fordite piece is set in heavy guage, hand fabricated and solid backed sterling, and has been given our signature mini-hammered finish, with wirework trim and scalloped edging. An oxidized finish has been applied to enhance handworked details. 

This chunky pendant is set by a fancy bail on an attached 20" double chain, featuring an oxidized fancy patterned link. It is finished with a custom sterling hook clasp.

One of my favorite one of a kinds yet!
