Sterling Silver and Motor Agate Fordite Bracelet #1873

Featured here is a large, lapidary cut, multi-layered Type 3 Motor Agate (Fordite) cabochon, bezel-set in a beautiful cuff bracelet in solid sterling silver, with two Type 2 contrasting fordite cabochons framing it. The whole piece has been given our signature mini-hammer finish, and some oxidation on the ball detailing between settings.

The salvaged and re-purposed material featured in this piece began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested from a major auto plant many years ago. The center fordite is from one of my oldest stashes of rough!
